This week is all about water! Plunge into the ecology and life of our area's rivers, streams, bays, and ocean. Discover the plants and animals that need healthy waterways in order to thrive and learn all about how important water quality is to local habitats. Campers will test the health of area water sources and get messy while examining mud!
Each week of camp, in addition to all of the fun-filled activities inside the museum or on historic ships, campers will learn how to row in rowboats built by the Seaport's own Workshop on the Water and kayak in either single or tandem kayaks with instructors. Campers will also receive an introduction to water and boat safety led by trained staff.
Camp is held each day from 9 am-3 pm, Monday, July 28 and Friday, August 1. Great for ages 6-12.
