Discover the birth of our Navy and what it meant to be a Patriot in the earliest days of US History. Learn all about pirate history, including pirates that came to Philadelphia! Campers will work in pirate “crews,” learn all about maps, search for hidden treasure and discover the relationship between Patriots and Pirates.
Each week of camp, in addition to all of the fun-filled activities inside the museum or on our historic ships, campers will learn how to row in rowboats built by our own Workshop on the Water and kayak in either single or tandem kayaks with instructors. Campers will also receive an introduction to water and boat safety led by trained staff.
Camp is held each day from 9 am-3 pm, Monday, July 7 and Friday, July 11. Great for ages 6-12.
